This paper will fire to review chapter seven from Michael L. Barrés book Scripture: An worldwide Introduction to the leger and Its Interpretation. In order to facilitate this assignment, I will provide my abridgment of the material and my personal response to it also. The chapter itself is quite short and elliptic only universe eleven pages long. It was a very firm read that I mat left out whatever crucial points. The chapter was quite existent and didnt really answer `why` to a mint of its points. contempt this, the chapter did encounter close to middle opening points. In familiar I viewed the Bible as an ancient book with many different stories. I neer thought about how the Bible would have had to undergo a long journey finished many eras, people and places forward it became the sacred text we have it off today. The chapter opens informing the reader that the book of account was not written in english, in fact it was not written for quite some time. The chap ter discusses the oral character of biblical traditions. The majority of the biblical stories at once existed in oral form. without delay I grew slightly concerned. for certain if the bible started off as an oral tradition without anything being written down, pieces of the story could have been added or even taken out scarcely uniform a game of Chinese whispers. Amen``.(120) This led me to wonder where Matthew got this from and why didnt the other evangelists have this included. Is the Lord`s words from the creed accounts actually what the Lord verbalize himself or were people just making things up themselves.
